ABOUT MAIOLI BREWS

Maioli Brews is the exciting first collection of paintings from artist Andrew Maioli.

Maioli Brews offers us a “taste” of the whimsical, sometimes cynical, and, even, thought-provoking world of the characters and settings created by this artist. The Amber Brews take us into a surreal world where peanuts and pretzels have taken over the bar to enjoy, promote and protect their favorite thing… beer. This series of paintings is light-hearted and is meant to introduce these new characters and all of their quirkiness. In a painting titled Pilsner Fountain, we even get a glimpse into the day-to-day lives of these lovable concoctions of the artists mind. In Light Brews, we get to “sample” the fun-loving characters as they frolic and play in tropical and other fantastic settings with their favorite beverage close at hand. Who doesn’t like a cold beer at the beach (when it is legal, of course)? The Dark Brews, more bold and full-bodied, compel us to search for the meaning of the paintings as majestic, often dark, scenes unfold before us. There are no peanuts or pretzel’s here: just the natural world and the man-made coming together or, perhaps, clashing. The artist leaves us to figure this out.

As our eyes “drink” in the world of Maioli Brews; we are allowed to sample many types, and pick and choose those we like or enjoy them all at different times of the day, month or year… just like their inspiration… Beer.

Custom Brews will allow patrons to personalize selected works for home bars or businesses, and Master Brews will present the very special opportunity for a true fan to have a masterpiece commissioned just for them.

We hope you smile, laugh, and wonder at the world of Maioli Brews, but, most importantly, we hope you have a great time. So sample all of the brews, bring some home, and don’t worry about the hangover; these brews don’t bite… well most of them anyway.
